Printed textile rolls provide fabric by length for later cutting, sewing or installation. A repeat pattern needs consistent scale and alignment, while a placement design needs a clear cutting plan and panel spacing.

What is the difference between roll width and usable width?
The full fabric width may include edges that are not part of the finished printable area. Confirm the usable width before calculating pattern repeats or cutting layouts.
